I built Sprout Canopy in between cooking today's meals and planning next week's for my 3 year old.
Every child is different. Every family has their own rhythm and routine. Our son has been at home, which has meant a lot of meal prepping. But the challenge wasn't the cooking itself — it was the planning. And we have a picky eater, so the chances of refusal are high. The emotions run even higher when you've checked dozens of recipes before deciding on one, just so it ends up on the floor.
So I built the companion app I wish I had. Few seconds to plan a week. A thumb-tap to tell it what worked. No scoreboards, no judgment, no “you missed a day.” Just a calm record of what's actually working, and a quiet idea for tomorrow — built on what your child likes, with foods they passed on before eased back in gently.
Did you know research shows toddlers need to be offered the same food 15–20 times before they accept it? Even knowing that, I still found it hard to put mental effort into planning meals I knew had a high chance of refusal. Sprout Canopy is smart about it — every meal has something your child likes, while slowly reintroducing foods they've passed on before. All so you don't get stuck with apples and bananas being the only fruits they enjoy (yes, that's us!).
I'm building it in the open, and I'd love your company. Tell me what's working, where it falls short, and what your family actually needs — write to me at help@sproutcanopy.com and every message shapes what comes next.
