A few favorites One new food, eased in All allergens & intolerances respected

Built on real history

Your kid's actual eating record. Familiar foods included; new ones eased in slowly, the way kids accept them.

One child or all of them, any timeframe

Pick the timeframe, which meals to include, and whether to plan for one child or all at once. Child allergies and preferences respected.

Recipe cards, not novels

Plain-language ingredients and three-line instructions. Kid-sized portions based on their age.

Try another, instantly

One tap regenerates a single meal. Or replaces it with a favorite.

02 · Log

No streaks, no nagging. A quick reaction when you have one is plenty.

Snap a photo of the plate, then let us know how it landed — Sprout Canopy learns what your kid likes, and the next plan gets noticeably better. Didn't cook from one of our plans? Log that too. And if today isn't the day to log at all? That's always okay.

Snap the plate

Easiest of all, and it works for any meal — ours or your own. A picture's worth a thousand words, and Sprout Canopy reads every one, pulling the detail off the plate so you don't have to.

Tap a reaction

The one thing that matters most: did it land? A single tap tells us how the meal went — and the next plan leans into more of what your kid actually eats.

Type it

No photo handy, or you cooked something off-plan? A few words — "half a banana and some toast" — count just the same.

03 · Memory

Behind every plan, a growing picture.

Each time you log a meal or run a new plan, Sprout Canopy builds on a quiet record — the foods they've accepted, what they love, what they're still warming up to. The plan doesn't guess. It knows.

Growing with every meal

Their eating world, mapped quietly.

Every log, every reaction, every swap adds to a profile that's entirely theirs. Invisible most of the time. Unmistakable in how the plan keeps getting better.

Gets sharper every week

The profile grows with every log and plan. Week 4 feels noticeably different from week 1 — because it is.

Favorites stay; duds smartly handled

No manual curating needed. Foods they loved keep coming back. Meals that flopped carefully considered.

One profile per child

Each kid has their own snapshot. Plan for one child or all at once — every memory stays completely separate.

Your data stays yours

A note from the parent building it
I built Sprout Canopy in between cooking today's meals and planning next week's for my 3 year old.

Every child is different. Every family has their own rhythm and routine. Our son has been at home, which has meant a lot of meal prepping. But the challenge wasn't the cooking itself — it was the planning. And we have a picky eater, so the chances of refusal are high. The emotions run even higher when you've checked dozens of recipes before deciding on one, just so it ends up on the floor.

So I built the companion app I wish I had. Few seconds to plan a week. A thumb-tap to tell it what worked. No scoreboards, no judgment, no “you missed a day.” Just a calm record of what's actually working, and a quiet idea for tomorrow — built on what your child likes, with foods they passed on before eased back in gently.

Did you know research shows toddlers need to be offered the same food 15–20 times before they accept it? Even knowing that, I still found it hard to put mental effort into planning meals I knew had a high chance of refusal. Sprout Canopy is smart about it — every meal has something your child likes, while slowly reintroducing foods they've passed on before. All so you don't get stuck with apples and bananas being the only fruits they enjoy (yes, that's us!).

I'm building it in the open, and I'd love your company. Tell me what's working, where it falls short, and what your family actually needs — write to me at help@sproutcanopy.com and every message shapes what comes next.

What parents want to know

Honest answers, no fine print.

Still wondering something? Send us a note — a real person reads them.

Will this turn into one more thing I have to keep up with? +

No. When we ask how a meal landed, it's not for the sake of tracking — it's so the next plan gets noticeably better for your kid. That's the only reason. So there are no streaks, no daily goals, nothing to keep up with. Life happens, and some days you won't log at all — that's always okay. We're here to save you time and mental effort, not take more of the little space you have.

What ages is it for? +

It's built around the toddler and early-years stretch (roughly 1–5 years) — where picky-eater chaos peaks and planning saves you the most. That said, it works for kids of any age; the food history and meal planning adapt to whoever you add.

Can I use it for more than one child? +

Yes — add as many children as you have. Each one gets their own profile, food history, and memory, so Jack's favorites and Olivia's dislikes never cross. You can plan a separate week per child, or one shared plan for several at once — and a shared plan still honors each child: a restriction for one (say, no peanuts) covers the whole menu, while each kid still gets their own favorites in the mix.

Can it handle allergies and dietary restrictions? +

Yes — set them once per child, adjust any time, and every recipe card respects them. You can flag allergies & intolerances, capture how your family eats — vegetarian, pescatarian, kosher, halal, and more — and add free-form rules like "no honey yet" for anything else.

Is this medical or nutritional advice? +

No. Sprout Canopy plans meals around your child's tastes, history, and your rules — it's a logging and planning tool, not a medical or nutritional service. For health or nutrition questions specific to your child, talk to your pediatrician.

What about my kid's data? +

Safely stored, never sold, not used to advertise to you or your child. You can delete everything from a child's profile in one tap.

How much does it cost? +

Try it free — every feature's included, just capped so you can see how it fits your family. To plan for real, week to week, Plus membership lifts the limits: it starts with a 7-day free trial, then continues monthly or annually. We're still finalizing the details and will post them here before launch.
